Easter Weekend Extravaganza

On Thursday Chase and I went to our second ultrasound.
UUUUHHHH-MAAA-ZING.
Did you know there is a HUMAN BEING in my belly?
I wouldn't beleive it either if i hadnt seen it for myself.
Not just ANY human being....
a boy!
Surprised?
So were we.
But mostly so excited.

For the last couple years we've made a tradition out of going to conference and spending the weekend with good friends. This year made no exceptions.
So Thursday directly after the appointment, we headed up to Utah with
Thanks to the snow and ice and all that fun stuff, we didn't make it there till 3am!
Here is our weekend in pictures.

We looked high and low for a sled but resorted to trash bags.
(which was Elizabeth's fabulous idea!)

Freezing. I have 3 coats on.

Just your average BYU students playing a good old fashion game of Quidditch.
With brooms and all.

Tucanos.
Best Brazilian meat on a sword ever.

Brazil Fortaleza Mission Reunion

Guarana.
Drink of choice.

Easter morning.

help?

OK-
For Christmas, (or maybe my birthday?...i can't remember...they're close)
Chase made me a website/ shop with unlimited item space, so I can start my own little shop!

I was a little scared (and still am)
but I think I just need to push myself and do it.
It could be fun, yeah?

So, i am super excited cause it doesn't just have to be things I make!
I want to include all the awesome things my mom and sisters make too!
(they are all waaaay more creative than me! and i have unlimited item space! yay!)

Well, I need help.
Chase thought of the name all by himself and purchased the domain name before he "gave" it to me.
It was cute to see what he came up with,
but i hate it. : /
Not a big deal, cause he can always transfer the content to another domain name.
So, now i just need to think of a name for the shop and so he can create the
domain name and get things rolling!

WHAT DO YOU THINK???

any ideas for an awesome name?
I don't want anything too common like "shabby chic shop"
everyone and their mom has that name.
i seriously can't even think of one thing.
I think my growing baby takes all my brains away and I feel like I'm going insane!

help me out!
puhleeease!

Don't Drink Icy Chocolate Milk

Have a fever?
Feeling ill?
Then what's better than grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup!?
(answer: nothing)

That's how I've been feeling lately....
just a little queazy.
So i did what i always do.

i quite possibly make the most kick a-dollar sign-dollar sign grilled cheese and turkey sandwich everrrr!

(and i can open a can of chicken noodle pretty darn well too.)

i also tried icy chocolate milk today.
i love chocolate milk.
always have. always will.
i wish my mom had bought me a gallon of chocolate milk all for myself.
(i hope thats funny already... if not- my sincerest apologies.)

anyway- Katie Nash gave me a gallon of frozen milk.
(thanks kate!)
and its taking like 3 days to thaw out in the fridge!
well i couldn't wait.
and just made a chocolate milk slushy of sorts.

it was surprisingly really really disgusting.
and nearly resulted in vomiting.
save yourself and don't try it.

Playing House

We watched Caitlin's baby, Riley, all day Saturday and got a little pre-show of how it's going to be not too far from now.

Chase loved it.

HAPPINESS IS...

Happiness is having a kick-trash birthday and being 21!!!
(woot woot! it seems so much older than 20.
i still feel 16.)

Happiness is closing on your house the day after your birthday!
(HOMEOWNERS!)

Happiness is reading one word that will change your life forever.

(if i look really tired... it's cause i am. Tired is all i am lately...)

Just in case you can't read that word...

  It says pregnant.

THAT'S RIGHT!
there's a little pumpkin growing inside my tummy!

due to grace us with his/her presence on august 27th.

[i guess this will get the baby out of my system now :)]

Getting the "baby" out of my system.

So it seems like everyone around me is is trying to, or going to, or just had a BABY.

This situation is perfect for me :)
I can get all "the baby" out of my system by simply using everyone else's babies!

I am a little stupid though. I forgot to take pictures before i gave most of everything away.

I started making little cute whipey cases that are freaking adorable and have seen them sell on etsy shops for a gazillion dollars.  Just in case you don't know what i'm talking about, here is a picture.

(keep in mind, i DID NOT make these ones.
i just found this picture in a google search.)

Then I saw Molly's adorable baby, Daisy, and the freaking cute thing she was sucking on.

Molly is so creative and cute, so I stole her idea and made some bling-bling pacifiers too
to help relieve the need for all things baby.

But the most fun project that i did were hats! And i didn't even copy/steal anyones idea!
Yay me for being somewhat original in my creativity!

Now i am all out of friends with girl babies... :(
and i bet Molly and Caitlin are sick of me texting them saying i have another present for their baby.
So, will someone else have a baby soon, so that i can get all my motherly hormones out of my system!?
Thanks.

Introducing...

When we got Nelly, we were unaware that she was really sick. But after a very expensive visit to the Vet, 9 different shots a day, and an IV twice a day for a week, she's all better!
We loved her too much after just even on the ride home to let her be sick.

She was really lethargic when we brought her home, and we thought she was just a calm puppy.
But now that she doesn't have Parvo, she is more than a handful to say the least.
She chews anything, anywhere.
And she's already grown like 6 feet since we've had her!

I get sooo sad when I have to leave her to go to work
and I hear her whining cause she wants to come with me.
If i feel this way about a DOG,
I wonder what it will be like when I have a human CHILD!

Come by and visit our new puppy child!
(but don't bring any puppies that haven't had their shots, cause Parvovirus stays for like a year!)
